Lee Kuan Yew(LKY)-(May the curse of Allah be upon him) wrote in his book(hard truths to keep Singapore going), among other things: "…we were progressing very nicely until the surge of Islam came. The other communities have easier integration … than Muslims… and today, we can integrate all religions and races, except Islam…. Muslims socially do not cause any trouble, but they are distinct and separate."
In order to facilitate integration in Singapore with its predominantly Chinese population and minority races including Malays and Indians, he urged Muslims to ‘be less strict on Islamic observances.'

This is a Chinese government notice board advocating its “Beauty Project” that started in 2011 in East Turkestan (Xinjiang) that bans Uyghur women from wearing head scarfs in schools, hospitals, government buildings and shopping malls. Slogans such as “Get rid of head scarfs; change ugly customs”, “Let the pretty faces show, let the beautiful hair flow.” The words on this billboard: “Ladies, women, please unveil your headscarfs, please don’t affect a modern civilized society.”
