The evil scholars condemn terrorism, and label muslims as terrorists alongside their kuffaar brothers, but they dont condemn nor talk against democracy, even though democracy is the worst bid'ah shirkiyyah (polytheistic innovation).
"Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray." (4:60)
Shaykh Ahmad Shaakir (d. 1377H): "So look, O Muslims, in all of the Islamic countries or the ones which claim to be Islamic, in all the parts of the Earth, to what your enemies from the missionaries and colonists have done to you! They have put upon the Muslims, laws of misguidance, which destroy the etiquettes and the Deen. European laws, which are idols, which were never based upon any Sharee’ah or Deen, rather they were based upon rules that were made by the Kuffar who refused to believe in the Messenger of their era, Isa, alayhi sallam.“So whatever complies and whatever contradicts; both are stuck in the mud of misguidance and it leads the one who follows it to the Fire and it is not allowed for a Muslim to be submissive to it or be pleased with it.” – “Umdaat At-Tafseer Mukhtaasir Tafseer Ibn Katheer of Ahmad Shaakir”, Vol. 3/214-215”

These evil scholars also call us 'extremists' and terrorists radicals along with their kuffaar brothers when we call/fight for the Shari'ah of Allaah.
Allaah exposes them in the very next verse: "And when it is said to them, "Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger," you see the hypocrites turning away from you in aversion." (4;61)

You are the ones who consider these evil scholars as scholars. But Allaah call them donkeys in the Qur'aan:
"The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [of books]. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of Allah . And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people." (62:5)
What's the point of them having knowledge? If you give books to a donkey would it do anything?

Abu Dhar said, "I was with the Prophet (SAW) one day and I heard him saying: "There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal." It was then that I became afraid, so I said: "Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He (SAW) said; "Misguided and astray scholars." [Musnad Ahmad (5/145) No. 21334 and 21335]
Ibn Taymiyyah state: "A scholar who abandons what has learnt from the Quran and the Sunnah and follows a ruler who does not rule in accordance with the teaching of Allah and His Messenger is an apostate and a disbeliever who deserves punishment in this world and in the hereafter " [Fatawa Ibn Taymiyyah, Volume 35/373]

They even alter the religion like the christians and call it modernism. This is what the christians did and went astray
” They have taken their rabbis and their monks as lords beside Allah and [they take as a lord] Al-Maseeh, `Eesaa, the son of Maryam, yet they were not commanded but to worship One God: None has the right to be worshipped but He – Praise and Glory to Him: [Far is He] from having the partners they associate [withHim]” (Qur’an 9:31)”
Imam ibnu Hajj [an alim(scholar) of ahl Sunnah wal jamaah] said in his Tafseer of the verse: “The bad scholars is what made the Shariyah of Isa(as) vanish, the people followed the rabbis and priest without any evidence indicating that their affairs were in the hands of the priest and rabbis, from the Friday till Sunday they (priest and rabbis) would renew the Deen for them (people) based upon what they think to be beneficial or harmful, or that which would be pleasing to the rulers. They (people) use to go out from the synagogues or churches saying they (priest and rabbis) had renewed the Deen for them and it is different from the week before. That was the disease which caused the disappearance of the Shariyah of Isa(as)” [Reported in Kitab al Madkhal volume 1 page 94]
Indeed the Prophet saws predicted some people of his ummah will follow their ways:
“Allah’s Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: ‘You will indeed follow the ways of those before you, hand span by hand span, and an arms length after another. Even if they enter into a lizard’s hole, you will follow them.’ We (the Sahaba) asked, ‘Is it the Jews and the Christians?’ He replied, ‘Who else!’” [Bukhari]

True scholars are NOT scholars for dollars but for the sake of Allaah. They don't change the religion to suit the environment, but they change their environment to go in accordance with their religion.

They even sell their religion. allying with the kuffaar against the muslims is an act of major kufr (disbelief) that would bring a person outside the fold of Islaam. This is agreed by consensus(ijmaa).
Sheikh Abdullah ibn Humaid may Allah have mercy on him, stated (Ad-Durrar 15/479): “Whoever expresses Tawalli towards the disbelievers (Tawalli Kuffar) and supports and helps them against the believers, then such constitutes apostasy by one’s (proceeding) actions. It is obligatory to apply the rules of apostasy upon such a person as is proved by the book, the sunnah and the consensus of the scholars.
O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists, etc.) as friends,... (Al-Mumtahinah 60:1)
"O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people." (5:51)
"So you see those in whose hearts is disease hastening into [association with] them, saying, "We are afraid a misfortune may strike us." But perhaps Allah will bring conquest or a decision from Him, and they will become, over what they have been concealing within themselves, regretful." (5:52)
And those who believe will say, "Are these the ones who swore by Allah their strongest oaths that indeed they were with you?" Their deeds have become worthless, and they have become losers. (5:53)

They embrace deviant cults to keep people away from islam. Sufism - to make a muslim from a lion to a goat. Whatever sufism initially was, spirituality, purification of soul, ihsaan, it is not what it is today. It' nothing but a deviant cult of bidah and shirk.
Such fitnah is sufism causing much havoc in the ummah. When we go towards ahlus sunnah they label us as wahabis and extremists.
It is authentically reported from Ibn Masood (radhiAllaahu anhu) as a saying of the Prophet sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), that he said:
“كيف أنتم إذا لبستكم فتنة يهرم فيها الكبير, ويربو فيها الصغير, ويتخذها الناس سنة, إذا ترك منها شيء” قيل: تركت السنة؟ قالوا: ومتى ذاك؟ قال: “إذا ذهبت علماؤكم, وكثرت قُراؤكم, وقَلَّت فقهاؤكم, وكَثُرت أمراؤكم, وقلَّتْ أمناؤكم, والتُمِسَتِ الدنيا بعمل الآخرة, وتُفُقهَ لغير الدين
“How will you be when a fitnah (calamity, i.e. innovation) engulfs you such that the adult will grow old (with it) and the youth will be raised upon it, and the people will take it as a Sunnah? So when any part of it (i.e. the innovation) is abandoned, it will be said: Have you abandoned the Sunnah?
They said: When will that be?
He said: (It will be) When your scholars have passed away, your reciters have increased, your Fuqahaa have become few, your leaders become many, your trusted ones decrease, the worldly life is sought after by (doing) the works of the Hereafter, and knowledge is sought for a reason other than the Religion.”

Shaykh Naasiruddin al-Albani said regarding this hadeeth:
قلت: وهذا الحديث من أعلام نبوته صلى الله عليه وسلم وصدق رسالته, فإن كل فقرة من فقراته, قد تحقق في العصر الحاضر, ومن ذلك كثرة البدع وافتتان الناس بها حتى اتخذوها سنة, وجعلوها ديناً
?يُتَّبع, فإذا أعرض عنها أهل السنة حقيقة, إلى السنة الثابتة عنه صلى الله عليه وسلم قيل: تُركت السنة!
“I say: This hadeeth is one of the signs of his (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)’s Prophethood and the verity of his Messengership, for indeed every one of its portions has become actualized in this present time. From them is the spread of various innovations, which the people are tested with, such that they have taken them as a Sunnah and (part of the) Religion to be followed. So when the real Ahlus- Sunnah turn away from them towards the Sunnah, which is authentically established on the Prophet (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), it will be said: ‘Has the Sunnah been abandoned?’”

Religion of today is nothing but a tool used by hypocrites and kuffar for self benefit amd entertainment. A tool that hangs from the branches of a modern secular society.
Islam is something that cover all.aspects of life, submitting all to Allaah. Politics, financial life, rituals, are all part of Islaam.

Allaah gives the understanding of the Deen of Islam to whomever He wills. so How can a kafir and a muslim have the same understanding of Islam which they label as 'moderate'.

Anas ibn Malik (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, ‘The time of the Dajjal will be years of confusion. People will believe a liar, and disbelieve one who tells the truth. People will distrust one who is trustworthy, and trust one who is treacherous; and the Ruwaybidah will have a say.’ Someone asked, ‘Who are the Ruwaybidah?’ He said, ‘Those who rebel against Allah and will have a say in general affairs.’” [Musnad Ahmad (3/220) No. 13322]
