Sign of the Hour draws near

Today it's kissing, tomorrow it's intercourse.

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The Hour will not be established until people fornicate with each other in the road just as a donkeys fornicate. - {Saheeh ibn Hibban 6767; Musnad Bazzar 3408; Saheeh according to the Jumhoor Muhadditheen]

Narrated By Anas: Allah’s Messenger said, “From among the portents of the Hour are (the following): 4. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual intercourse. - [Al-Bukhari (80) and Muslim (2671)]

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “At that time, Allah will send a pleasant wind which will soothe them even under their armpits, and will take the soul of every Muslim. Only the most wicked people will be left, and they will fornicate like asses; then the Last Hour will come upon them.” [Muslim: Kitab al-Fitan wa Ashrat al-Sa’ah]

Muslims in South-East Asia

Muslims praying in singapore, one of them in a army uniform with the taghooti flag. Can't judge too much because singapore forces men in their country to go for national service.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Take your time to read this. This might be though-provoking. But please DONT turn this into a social studies question. This is regarding the muslims in SOUTHEAST ASIA.
.
1- FAITH - Imaam ash-Shaafi’ie (d.204 Hijri) said:“There is consensus among the Sahaabah, the Taabi’een, and those who met them, who all said: Imaan is (1) sayings, (2) actions and (3) intentions, and none of these three can exist without the others.” (Majmoo’ al-Fataawaa, vol.7, p.209)

2- MUSLIM NATION - ‘  ‘On the authority of Abdullah ibn Umar (RA), that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “I have been ordered to fight against the people until they testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and until they establish the salah and pay the zakat. And if they do that then they will have gained protection from me for their lives and property, unless [they commit acts that are punishable] in Islam, and their reckoning will be with Allah.” - [Al-Bukhari (25) and Muslim (22)]

"Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled." - [9:29]

Imam al-Qurturbi (rh.a.) also said, “The Khilafah is the pillar upon which other pillars rest”. Imam an-Nawawi (rh.a.) said, “”(The scholars) consented that it is an obligation upon the Muslims to select a Khaleefah”. (Sharhu Sahih Muslim page 205 vol 12)

Ibn Taymiyyah (rh.a.) said, “”It is obligatory to know that the office in charge of commanding over the people (ie: the Khilafah post) is one of the greatest obligations of the Deen. In fact, their is no establishment of the Deen except by it….this is the opinion of the salaf, such as al-Fadl ibn ‘Iyaad, Ahmed ibn Hanbal and others”. (Siyaasah Shariyyah – chapter: ‘The obligation of adherence to the leadership’.) Imam abu ul-Hasan al-Mawardi (rh.a.) said, “The contract of the Imamah (leadership) for whoever is standing with it, is an obligation by Ijmaa’a (consensus)”. (al-Ahkam us-Sultaniyyah [Arabic] p 56.)

Narrated By Muawiya: I heard the Prophet saying, "A group of people amongst my followers will remain obedient to Allah's orders and they will not be harmed by anyone who will not help them or who will oppose them, till Allah's Order (the Last Day) comes upon them while they are still on the right path." [Sahih Bukhari (4/207) No. 3641]

3- COLONISATION - Shaykh Ahmad Shaakir (d. 1377H): So look, O Muslims, in all of the Islamic countries or the ones which claim to be Islamic, in all the parts of the Earth, to what your enemies from the missionaries and colonists have done to you! They have put upon the Muslims, laws of misguidance, which destroy the etiquettes and the Deen. European laws, which are idols, which were never based upon any Sharee’ah or Deen, rather they were based upon rules that were made by the Kuffar who refused to believe in the Messenger of their era, Isa, alayhi sallam.“So whatever complies and whatever contradicts; both are stuck in the mud of misguidance and it leads the one who follows it to the Fire and it is not allowed for a Muslim to be submissive to it or be pleased with it.” – “Umdaat At-Tafseer Mukhtaasir Tafseer Ibn Katheer of Ahmad Shaakir”, Vol. 3/214-215”

4- DEMOCRACY - Democracy is a man-made system, meaning rule by the people for the people. Thus it is contrary to Islam, because rule is for Allaah, the Most High, the Almighty, and it is not permissible to give legislative rights to any human being, no matter who he is.

“Have you seen those (hypocrites) who claim that they believe in that which has been sent down to you, and that which was sent down before you, and they wish to go for judgement (in their disputes) to the Taghut (false judges, etc.) while they have been ordered to reject them. But Shaitan (Satan) wishes to lead them far astray.” (An-Nisa 4:60)

But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.” [Surah An-Nisa (4:65)]
 -
And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the kaafiroon (disbelievers)” Soorah Al-Ma’idah’ 5:44.
Also, see verses 5:45 and 5:47. In this issue, many people refer to the words of Ibn Abbas (RA) about this verse (5:44) that it, means minor Kufr which does not constitute apostasy. But the narration of the words of Ibn Abbas (RA) is weak because it came in one way through Hisham Ibn Hujjair whom was considered to be weak by Imam Ahmed, Yahya Ibn Ma’ean, Yahya Ibn Sa’ead and Al-Awqaily (Ad-Duafa Volume 4, Page 337). So, the truth about this issue and Allah knows best (Wa Allah A’alam), it is Major Kufr as it was narrated by Abdurazaq in his Tafseer, that Ma’Amr said Ibn Taw’wose said his father said Ibn Abbas (RA) was asked about this verse 5:44, and Ibn Abbas (RA) said: “it is Kufr”.

Ibn Kathir (rh) said: “So Whosoever abandons the wise Shariah which was revealed upon Muhammad ibn Abdullah, the seal of the prophets, and goes to other abrogated Shariah for judgment, he becomes a Kaafir. So how about the one who goes to al-Yaasiq (man-made law) for judgment and gives it precedence (over the Shariah of Muhammad (SAW). Whosoever does this has become a Kaafir by the Ijma of the Muslims.” [Al-Bidayah Wan-Nihayah, (Vol. 13, p119)]

He (RH) also said: “Thus, it has become in his sons a followed law to which they have been giving precedence over ruling by the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His messenger (SAW). Whoever does this is a Kaafir who must be FOUGHT until he returns to the rule of Allah and His messenger. So no one other than He should rule neither minorly or majorly”  – Tafseer Ibn Kathir, Vol 2, p.67

CONCLUSION

Not just malays but the vast majority of muslims lack knowldge and understanding of islam in southeast asia. Thats why theres all these "modern" liberal, and moderate (which is actually ignorance today) rubbish all around the region. All they (MOST of them NOT ALL muslims) can do is call people radical and other ugly terms the kafirs made for them to utilise in order to fuel falsehood. That is why it is difficult to practise/learn and understand Islam especially in un/anti-islamic places like singapore.

It is authentically reported from Ibn Masood (radhiAllaahu anhu) as a saying of the Prophet sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), that he said:

“How will you be when a fitnah (calamity, i.e. innovation) engulfs you such that the adult will grow old (with it) and the youth will be raised upon it, and the people will take it as a Sunnah? So when any part of it (i.e. the innovation) is abandoned, it will be said: Have you abandoned the Sunnah?

They said: When will that be?

He said: (It will be) When your scholars have passed away, your reciters have increased, your Fuqahaa have become few, your leaders become many, your trusted ones decrease, the worldly life is sought after by (doing) the works of the Hereafter, and knowledge is sought for a reason other than the Religion.”

[Reported by ad-Daarimee (1/64) with two chains of narration, the first of which is authentic while the second is hasan. It is also reported by al-Haakim (4/514) and others]

Shaykh Naasiruddin al-Albani said regarding this hadeeth:

قلت: وهذا الحديث من أعلام نبوته صلى الله عليه وسلم وصدق رسالته, فإن كل فقرة من فقراته, قد تحقق في العصر الحاضر, ومن ذلك كثرة البدع وافتتان الناس بها حتى اتخذوها سنة, وجعلوها ديناً
?يُتَّبع, فإذا أعرض عنها أهل السنة حقيقة, إلى السنة الثابتة عنه صلى الله عليه وسلم قيل: تُركت السنة!

“I say: This hadeeth is one of the signs of his (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)’s Prophethood and the verity of his Messengership, for indeed every one of its portions has become actualized in this present time. From them is the spread of various innovations, which the people are tested with, such that they have taken them as a Sunnah and (part of the) Religion to be followed. So when the real Ahlus- Sunnah turn away from them towards the Sunnah, which is authentically established on the Prophet (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), it will be said: ‘Has the Sunnah been abandoned?’” [Source: “Qiyaam al-Ramadaan” (The Night Prayer) by Shaykh Naasiruddin al-Albani (rahimahullaah), pages 4-5.]

--------
Bukhari Volume 9, Book 88, Number 184: Narrated ‘Abdullah and Abu Musa: The Prophet said, “Near the establishment of the Hour there will be days during which Religious ignorance will spread, knowledge will be taken away (vanish) and there will be much Al-Harj, and Al-Harj means killing.”

What you need to know about extremism/radicalism

Regarding the Illusion of ‘moderate’Religion of today is nothing but a tool used by hypocrites and kuffar for self benefit amd entertainment. A tool that hangs from the branches of a modern secular society. Islam is something that cover all aspects of life, submitting all to Allaah. Politics, financial life, rituals, are all part of Islaam.

Only stupid retards who cant comprehend this resort to so called moderation by ignoring all aspects of islam. This is NOT moderation. Rather, this is ignorance.

Allaah gives the understanding of the Deen of Islam to whomever He wills. so How can a kafir and a muslim have the same understanding of Islam which they label as ‘moderate’.
------
The false creed of Modernism (religion "suited" in modern day society) & liberalism

Some would come up with this deviated concept of modernising the religion according to the modern day environment. This is what the christians did and became astray

They have taken their rabbis and their monks as lords beside Allah and [they take as a lord] Al-Maseeh, `Eesaa, the son of Maryam, yet they were not commanded but to worship One God: None has the right to be worshipped but He – Praise and Glory to Him: [Far is He] from having the partners they associate [with Him]” (Qur’an 9:31)”
Imam ibnu Hajj [an alim(scholar) of ahl Sunnah wal jamaah] said in his Tafseer of the verse:  “The bad scholars is what made the Shariyah of Isa(as) vanish, the people followed the rabbis and priest without any evidence indicating that their affairs were in the hands of the priest and rabbis, from the Friday till Sunday they (priest and rabbis) would renew the Deen for them (people) based upon what they think to be beneficial or harmful, or that which would be pleasing to the rulers.  They (people) use to go out from the synagogues or churches saying they (priest and rabbis) had renewed the Deen for them and it is different from the week before.  That was the disease which caused the disappearance of the Shariyah of Isa(as)” [Reported in Kitab al Madkhal volume 1 page 94]
.
On the authority of `Adi Ibn Hatim (ra), it is reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah reciting this Qur’anic verse:” They have taken their rabbis and their monks as lords beside Allah and [they take as a lord] Al-Maseeh, `Eesaa, the son of Maryam, yet they were not commanded but to worship One God: None has the right to be worshipped but He – Praise and Glory to Him: [Far is He] from having the partners they associate [withHim]” (Qur’an 9:31)”
…and I said to him : “We don’t worship them.” He (SAWS) said: “Do they not forbid what Allah has permitted and do you not then forbid it (to yourselves), and do they not make permissible for you what Allah has forbidden, and do you not then make it permissible (to yourselves)?” I replied: “Certainly!” He said: “That is worshipping them.” (Narrated by At-Tirmidhi, who graded it as Hasan)
.
Indeed the Prophet saws predicted some people of his ummah will follow their ways: Allah’s Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: ‘You will indeed follow the ways of those before you, hand span by hand span, and an arms length after another. Even if they enter into a lizard’s hole, you will follow them.’ We (the Sahaba) asked, ‘Is it the Jews and the Christians?’ He replied, ‘Who else!’ – [Bukhari]

-------
Some say: modernise your religion because 21 century is different from 1400 years ago sunnah (which is now considered extreme).
Allaah says: “And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; if they see every one of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: “These are nothing but tales of the men of old.” (6:25)
so, 1400 years ago, Unbelievers used to say similar things.
--------
--------
Are we spreading hatred? Understand it Islamically.

As for spreading hatred, Al-Walaa wal Baraa is allegiance & disavowal for the sake of Allah (Azzawajal). We love what God loves and hate what God hates.

Like how the kuffaar and munafiqoon love what their (kufr) government loves(in general), and hate what their government hates. But for us (Muslims), God comes first. Sovereignty belongs to Allah (azzawajal) alone.

“And of mankind are some who take (for worship) others besides Allah as rivals (to Allah). They love them as they love Allah. But those who believe love Allah more (than anything else). If only those who do wrong could see, when they will see the torment, all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is Severe in punishment.” (al-Baqarah, 2:165)

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father and his people, “Indeed, I am disassociated from that which you worship - [Surah Az-Zukhruf, 26]

The Messenger Muhammad (saw) also said: “The most powerful knot of Eemaan is to love for the sake of Allah and to hate for the sake of Allah.”  (Ahmad, Aadaab us-Suhbah)

The Prophet(saw) said: “When Allah loves a servant, He calls Gabriel and says, ‘Verily I love so and so; you should also love him’, and Gabriel begins to love him. Then he(Gabriel) makes an announcement in the heaven saying, ‘Allah loves so and so, you should also love him’, and then the inhabitants of the heavens (the angels) also begin to love him and then there conferred honour upon him in the earth; and whenever Allah dislikes a servant of His, HE calls Gabriel and says, ‘I dislike so and so you should also dislike him’, and then Gabriel also dislikes him and then makes an announcement amongst the inhabitants of heaven, ‘Verily ALLAH dislike so and so, so you should dislike him’, and thus they also dislike him. Then he becomes the object of wrath of the earth also”. (Sahih Muslim (English translation) Vol. 4 pg1385 No.6373)

Scholars of singapore

singapore isn't the ONLY country with muslims/muslim scholars. Hence you can't expect the scholars (especially in such an un/anti-islamic society) to be the best of the best. Hence muslims in singapore should leave the religion of MUIS and PERGAS and come back to Islaam. See Qur'aan 62:5 to learn about these MUIS and PERGAS.

Abu Dhar said, “I was with the Prophet (SAW) one day and I heard him saying: “There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal.” It was then that I became afraid, so I said: “Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?” He (SAW) said; “Misguided and astray scholars.” [Musnad Ahmad (5/145) No. 21334 and 21335]

Ibn Taymiyyah says: “A scholar who abandons what has learnt from the Quran and the Sunnah and follows a ruler who does not rule in accordance with the teaching of Allah and His Messenger is an apostate and a disbeliever who deserves punishment in this world and in the hereafter ” Fatawa Ibn Taymiyyah, Volume 35/373

Ibn Mas`ud was asked (by the people of Iraq), What is rashwa (taking bribes)? He replied, “This is suht (unlawful earning).” They said, “No, we meant in ruling.” He then said, “This is the very kufr.” Then he recited: “…And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun.” (Al-Ma’idah 5:44) [Tafsir al-Tabari (10/321) No. 11960, Tafsir Ibn Kathir (3/119)]

Message to PERGAS & MUIS

The evil scholars condemn terrorism, and label muslims as terrorists alongside their kuffaar brothers, but they dont condemn nor talk against democracy, even though democracy is the worst bid'ah shirkiyyah (polytheistic innovation).

"Have  you  not  seen  those  who  claim  to  have  believed  in  what  was  revealed  to  you,  [O Muhammad],  and  what  was  revealed  before  you?  They  wish  to  refer  legislation  to Taghut,  while  they  were  commanded  to  reject  it;  and  Satan  wishes  to  lead  them  far astray." (4:60)

Shaykh Ahmad Shaakir (d. 1377H): "So look, O Muslims, in all of the Islamic countries or the ones which claim to be Islamic, in all the parts of the Earth, to what your enemies from the missionaries and colonists have done to you! 3/214-215”
.....

These evil scholars also call us 'extremists' and terrorists radicals along with their kuffaar brothers when we call/fight for the Shari'ah of Allaah.
Allaah exposes them in the very next verse:  "And  when  it  is  said  to  them,  "Come  to  what Allah has  revealed  and  to  the  Messenger," you  see  the  hypocrites  turning  away  from  you  in  aversion." (4;61)

...
You are the ones who consider these evil scholars as scholars. But Allaah call  them donkeys in the Qur'aan:

"The  example  of  those  who  were  entrusted  with  the  Torah  and  then  did  not  take  it  on  is like  that  of  a  donkey  who  carries  volumes  [of  books].  Wretched  is  the  example  of  the people  who  deny  the  signs  of Allah .  And Allah does  not  guide  the  wrongdoing  people." (62:5)

What's the point of them having knowledge? If you give books to a donkey would it do anything?

...
These evil people take everything out of context and accuse us of taking out of context.

They are very dangerous because they cause alot of havoc and destruction within the ummah with their deviation.

Abu Dhar said, "I was with the Prophet (SAW) one day and I heard him saying: "There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal." It was then that I became afraid, so I said: "Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He (SAW) said; "Misguided and astray scholars." [Musnad Ahmad (5/145) No. 21334 and 21335]

Ibn Taymiyyah state: "A scholar who abandons what has learnt from the Quran and the Sunnah and follows a ruler who does not rule in accordance with the teaching of Allah and His Messenger is an apostate and a disbeliever who deserves punishment in this world and in the hereafter " [Fatawa Ibn Taymiyyah, Volume 35/373]
....
They even alter the religion like the christians and call it modernism. This is what the christians did and went astray

” They have taken their rabbis and their monks as lords beside Allah and [they take as a lord] Al-Maseeh, `Eesaa, the son of Maryam, yet they were not commanded but to worship One God: None has the right to be worshipped but He – Praise and Glory to Him: [Far is He] from having the partners they associate [withHim]” (Qur’an 9:31)”

Indeed the Prophet saws predicted some people of his ummah will follow their ways:
“Allah’s Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: ‘You will indeed follow the ways of those before you, hand span by hand span, and an arms length after another. Even if they enter into a lizard’s hole, you will follow them.’ We (the Sahaba) asked, ‘Is it the Jews and the Christians?’ He replied, ‘Who else!’” [Bukhari]

....

True scholars are NOT scholars for dollars but for the sake of Allaah. They don't change the religion to suit the environment, but they change their environment to go in accordance with their religion.
......

They even sell their religion. allying with the kuffaar against the muslims is an act of major kufr (disbelief) that would bring a person outside the fold of Islaam. This is agreed by consensus(ijmaa).

Sheikh Abdullah ibn Humaid may Allah have mercy on him, stated (Ad-Durrar 15/479): “Whoever expresses Tawalli towards the disbelievers (Tawalli Kuffar) and supports and helps them against the believers, then such constitutes apostasy by one’s (proceeding) actions. It is obligatory to apply the rules of apostasy upon such a person as is proved by the book, the sunnah and the consensus of the scholars.

O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists, etc.) as friends,... (Al-Mumtahinah 60:1)

"O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people." (5:51)

"So you see those in whose hearts is disease hastening into [association with] them, saying, "We are afraid a misfortune may strike us." But perhaps Allah will bring conquest or a decision from Him, and they will become, over what they have been concealing within themselves, regretful." (5:52)

And those who believe will say, "Are these the ones who swore by Allah their strongest oaths that indeed they were with you?" Their deeds have become worthless, and they have become losers. (5:53)
.....

They embrace deviant cults to keep people away from islam. Sufism - to make a muslim from a lion to a goat. Whatever sufism initially was, spirituality, purification of soul, ihsaan, it is not what it is today. It' nothing but a deviant cult of bidah and shirk.

Such fitnah is sufism causing much havoc in the ummah. When we go towards ahlus sunnah they label us as wahabis and extremists.

So when the real Ahlus- Sunnah turn away from them towards the Sunnah, which is authentically established on the  Prophet (sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), it will be said: ‘Has the Sunnah been abandoned?’”

Illusion of moderate

Religion of today is nothing but a tool used by hypocrites and kuffar for self benefit amd entertainment. A tool that hangs from the branches of a modern secular society.

Islam is something that cover all.aspects of life, submitting all to Allaah. Politics, financial life, rituals, are all part of Islaam.

Only stupid retards who cant comprehend this resort to so called moderation by ignoring all aspects of islam. This is NOT moderation. Rather, this is ignorance.

Allaah gives the understanding of the Deen of Islam to whomever He wills. so How can a kafir and a muslim have the same understanding of Islam which they label as 'moderate'.
......
So these evil scholars human garbage are the ones having the upper hand, holding the mike, condemning everyone. They Go on stage condemning muslims as terrorists instead condemning the ones who are really killing muslims.

Anas ibn Malik (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, ‘The time of the Dajjal will be years of confusion. People will believe a liar, and disbelieve one who tells the truth. People will distrust one who is trustworthy, and trust one who is treacherous; and the Ruwaybidah will have a say.’ Someone asked, ‘Who are the Ruwaybidah?’ He said, ‘Those who rebel against Allah and will have a say in general affairs.’” [Musnad Ahmad (3/220) No. 13322]

Bid'ah and Shirk

Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “According to sharee’ah, the definition is ‘Worshipping Allaah in ways that Allaah has not prescribed.’ If you wish you may say, ‘Worshipping Allaah in ways that are not those of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) or his rightly guided successors (al-khulafaa’ al-raashidoon).’”
The first definition is taken from the aayah (interpretation of the meaning):
“Or have they partners with Allaah (false gods) who have instituted for them a religion which Allaah has not ordained?” [al-Shooraa 42:21]
The second definition is taken from the hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), who said:
“I urge you to adhere to my way (Sunnah) and the way of the rightly-guided successors (al-khulafa’ al-raashidoon) who come after me. Hold fast to it and bite onto it with your eyeteeth [i.e., cling firmly to it], and beware of newly-invented matters.”
So everyone who worships Allaah in a manner that Allaah has not prescribed or in a manner that is not in accordance with the way of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) or his rightly-guided successors (al-khulafa’ al-raashidoon), is an innovator, whether that innovated worship has to do with the names and attributes of Allaah, or to do with His rulings and laws.
With regard to ordinary matters of habit and custom, these are not called bid’ah (innovation) in Islam, even though they may be described as such in linguistic terms. But they are not innovations in the religious sense, and these are not the things that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was warning us against.
And there is no such thing in Islam as bid’ah hasanah (good innovation).”
(Majmoo’ Fataawa Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, vol. 2, p. 291)
——————————————
Shaykh Haafiz al-Hukami (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “The kind of bid’ah which constitutes kufr is when one denies a matter on which there is scholarly consensus, which widely-known, and which no Muslim can have any excuse for not knowing, such as denying something that is obligatory, making something obligatory that is not obligatory, or making something haraam halaal, or making something halaal haraam; or believing some notion about Allaah, His Messenger and His Book when they are far above that, whether in terms of denial of affirmation – because that means disbelieving in the Qur’aan and in the message with which Allaah sent His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Examples include the bid’ah of the Jahamiyyah, who denied the attributes of Allaah; or the notion that the Qur’aan was created; or the notion that some of the attributes of Allaah were created; or the bid’ah of the Qadariyyah who denied the knowledge and actions of Allaah; or the bid’ah of the Mujassimah who likened Allaah to His creation… etc.
The second category, bid’ah which does not constitute kufr, is defined as that which does not imply rejection of the Qur’aan or of anything with which Allaah sent His Messengers.
Examples include the Marwaani bid’ahs (which were denounced by the greatest Sahaabah who did not approve of them, although they did not denounce them as kaafirs or refuse to give them bay’ah because of that), such as delaying some of the prayers until the end of the due times, doing the Eid khutbah before the Eid prayer, delivering the khutbah whilst sitting down on Fridays, etc.
(Ma’aarij al-Qubool, 2/503-504)
————————————
Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “In both cases, we have to call these people – who claim to be Muslim but who commit acts of bid’ah which may constitute kufr or may be less than that – to the truth, by explaining the truth without being hostile or condemning what they are doing. But once we know that they are too arrogant to accept the truth – for Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning), ‘And insult not those whom they (disbelievers) worship besides Allaah, lest they insult Allaah wrongfully without knowledge.’ [al-An’aam 6:108] – if we find out that they are stubborn and arrogant, then we should point out their falsehood, because then pointing out their falsehood becomes an obligation upon us.
With regard to boycotting them, that depends upon the bid’ah. If it is a bid’ah which constitutes kufr, then it is obligatory to boycott the person who does it. If it is of a lesser degree than that, then it is essential to examine the situation further. If something may be achieved by boycotting the person, then we do it; if no purpose will be served by it, or if it will only make him more disobedient and arrogant, then we should avoid doing that, because whatever serves no purpose, it is better not to do it. And also in principle it is haraam to boycott a believer, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘It is not permissible for a man to forsake [not speak to] his brother for more than three [days].’”
(Adapted from Majmoo’ Fataawa Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, vol. 2, p. 293)
—————————————
Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen said:
“Shirk is of two types, major shirk which puts a person beyond the pale of Islam, and lesser shirk.”
The first type, major shirk, is “Every type of shirk which the Lawgiver described as such and which puts a person beyond the pale of his religion” – such as devoting any kind of act of worship which should be for Allaah to someone other than Allaah, such as praying to anyone other than Allaah, fasting for anyone other than Allaah or offering a sacrifice to anyone other than Allaah. It is also a form of major shirk to offer supplication (du’aa’) to anyone other than Allaah, such as calling upon the occupant of a grave or calling upon one who is absent to help one in some way in which no one is able to help except Allaah.
The second type is minor shirk, which means every kind of speech or action that Islam describes as shirk, but it does not put a person beyond the pale of Islam – such as swearing an oath by something other than Allaah, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said that whoever swears an oath by something other than Allaah is guilty of kufr or shirk.”
The one who swears an oath by something other than Allaah but does not believe that anyone other than Allaah has the same greatness as Allah, is a mushrik who is guilty of lesser shirk, regardless of whether the one by whom he swore is venerated by people or not. It is not permissible to swear by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), or by the president, or by the Ka’bah, or by Jibreel, because this is shirk, but it is minor shirk which does not put a person beyond the pale of Islam.
Another type of minor shirk is showing off, which means that a person does something so that people will see it, not for the sake of Allaah.
The ways in which showing off may cancel out acts of worship are either of the following:
The first is when it is applies to an act of worship from the outset, i.e., the person is not doing that action for any reason other than showing off. In this case, the action is invalid and is rejected, because of the hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah which was attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), which says that Allaah said, “I am so self-sufficient that I am in no need of having an associate. Thus he who does an action for someone else’s sake as well as Mine will have that action renounced by Me to him whom he associated with Me.”
(Narrated by Muslim, Kitaab al-Zuhd, no. 2985)
The second is when the showing off happens later on during the act of worship, i.e., the action is originally for Allaah, then showing off creeps into it. This may be one of two cases:
The first is when the person resists it – this does not harm him.
For example, a man has prayed a rak’ah, then some people come along during his second rak’ah and it occurs to him to make the rukoo’ or sujood longer, or makes himself weep, and so on. If he resists that, it does not harm him, because he is striving against this idea. But if he goes along with that, then every action which stemmed from showing off is invalid, such as if he made his standing or prostration long, or he made himself weep – all of those actions will be cancelled out. But does this invalidation extend to the entire act of worship or not?
We say that either of the following must apply:
Either the end of his act of worship was connected to the beginning (with no pause); so if the end of it is invalidated then all of it is invalidated.
This is the case with the prayer – the last part of it cannot be invalidated without the first part also being invalidated, so the whole prayer is invalid.
Or if the beginning of the action is separate from the end of it, then the first part is valid but the latter part is not. Whatever came before the showing off is valid, and what came after it is not valid.
An example of that is a man who has a hundred riyals, and gives fifty of them in charity for the sake of Allaah with a sound intention, then he gives fifty in charity for the purpose of showing off. The first fifty are accepted, and the second fifty are not accepted, because the latter is separate from the former.”

Iraq splits into three - Prepare for doomsday?

Regarding Division in Iraq

The following hadeeths may be WEAK. These hadeeths are taken from different websites.
I inform you all that this is just an observation and opinion. It may not be 100% true.
Allah knows best.

According to the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) , "The people of Iraq will be divided into three groups. One part will join the looters. One group will flee, leaving their families behind. And one group will fight and kill. Prepare yourselves for Doomsday when you see this." (Faraid Fawaid Fikr fi Imam al-Mahdi al-Muntazhar)

So the Hadith states there are THREE groups that are divided.
1- Looters
2- Those who flee leaving their families behind
3- Those who fight and kill

Lets examine them according to the current news (Note the news are the news of the kuffaar so be careful)

1- Looters - Kurds
The kurds are going towards an independent state.

What would they loot?
Will kurds use oil to break away from Iraq?http://edition.cnn.com/2014/06/24/world/meast/iraq-kurds-oil-sale/ (CNN)

2- Those who flee leaving their families -   Yazidis

Who is the sufyani?

Abu Hurayrah has narrated that the Prophet said:
A man will emerge from the depths of Damascus. He will be called Sufyani. Most of those who follow him will be from the tribe of Kalb. He will kill by ripping the stomachs of women and even kill the children. A man from my family will appear in the Haram, the news of his advent will reach the Sufyani and he will send to him one of his armies. He (referring to the Mahdi) will defeat them. They will then travel with whoever remains until they come to a desert and they will be swallowed. None will be saved except the one who had informed the others about them. (Mustadrak Al-Hakim)

He MAY be bashar al-ASSad. Bashar(may Allah curse him) is from the kalb tribe

Al-Harith bin Abdullah said: " A man from the progeny of Abi Sufyan comes out, from the drought valley, with (an army carrying) red banners. He has thin arms and thin legs, with long neck, very yellowish (meaning pale) in complexion, on him (can be seen) the mark or sign of worship." - Nuaim bin Hammad's Kitab Al-Fitan

Does it match?

"The people of Kufa will be divided into three groups (or parties). One group will join the Sufyani army. These are the most wicked people Allah created. Another group will wage war against them, and these people are the honorable servants of Allah. Another group will join the pillagers, and they are sinners." (An-Najmu Athaqib Fi Bayan Aal Al-Mahdi min Awlad Ali Bin Abi Talib)

And Allah knows best

Our Prophet Muhammad (SAWS)  said: " There will be such troubles and calamities that nobody will be able to find a place of shelter. These woes will move around AshSham (Greater Syria), fall upon Iraq and tie the hands and feet of the Arabian Peninsula. A group of Muslims will fight against troubles in the steppes. Nobody will feel any sympathy for them or even say, 'Alas!' As they try to remedy their woes from one side, the woes will emerge again on the other side." (Muntakhab Kanz Al-Ummal, vol. 5, pp. 38-39)
————
american invasion of iraq- remember that?

Doomsday will not come until Iraq is attacked and innocent people in Iraq will seek shelter in AshSham. AshSham will be reconstructed and Iraq will be reconstructed. (Muntakhab Kanzul Ummal, vol. 5 p. 254)

Neglecting Salaah (prayer)

"Verily! I am Allah! La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform AsSalat (Iqamat-as-Salat) for My Remembrance Surah Ta-Ha, 20:14

What has caused you to enter Hell?" They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers . "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. (74:42:48)

-----

Jabir (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “Between a man (Muslim) and shirk and disbelief lies neglect of salah.” - [Sahih Muslim (1/88) No. 82, Sunan Tirmidhi (5/13) No. 2620, Sunan Abu Dawud (4/219) No. 4678, Sunan Ibn Majah (2/181) No. 1078, Sunan An-Nasa'i (1/232) No. 463, Musnad Ahmad (3/370) No. 15021]

-------

Abdullah ibn Shaqiq Uqayli (RA) reported, saying “The companions of Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) did not regard neglect of any of the deeds as disbelief as they did (neglect) of Salah.” - [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/14) No. 2622 and Mustadrak al-Haakim (1/48) No. 12 who said it met the conditions of al-Bukhari and Muslim]

"The first thing which will be judged among a man's deeds on the Day of Resurrection is the Prayer If this is in good order, then he will succeed and prosper, but if it is defective, then he will fail and lose" [Tirmidhi]

-----
Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
In the case of one who believes that prayer is obligatory yet still persists in not praying, the fuqahaa’ who have studied the matter in detail mentioned a number of points:
The first of them is this point, which was stated by the majority of them, Maalik, Al-Shaafa’i and Ahmad: if a person persists until he is killed, is he killed as a kaafir and an apostate, or as a sinful Muslim like other sinful Muslims, as stated in the two well-known views reported from Ahmad? Such detailed discussion was not reported from the Sahaabah, and is excessive and futile.
If the person believes in his heart that prayer is obligatory, this will not allow him to persist in not doing it until he is executed. Such a thing is not known among the sons of Adam, and has never happened in Islam. It is unheard of for a person to believe that it is obligatory and to be told, “If you do not pray we will execute you” and then to persist in not doing it even though he believes it is obligatory. This has never happened in Islam.

When a person refrains from praying until he is executed, he does not really believe in his heart that it is obligatory and was not doing it, so he is a kaafir, according to the consensus of the Muslims, as it was stated in many reports that the Sahaabah would consider such a person to be a kaafir. This is also indicated by the saheeh texts, such as the ahadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him):
“Nothing stands between a person and Kufr except his giving up prayer” (narrated by Muslim).
“The covenant that separates us from them is prayer, and whoever gives up prayer has become a kaafir.”

‘Abd-Allaah ibn Shaqeeq said: “The companions of Muhammad did not think that giving up any deed would make a person a kaafir – apart from giving up prayer.”

Whoever persists in not praying and never prostrated to Allaah at all until he dies, can never be a Muslim who believes that prayer is obligatory. Believing that it is obligatory and that the person who does not do it deserves to be executed is sufficient motive to make a person do it, for if a person has the motive and ability to do something, it should be done. If he is able to do it but he never does it, this indicates that the motive is not present in his case.
(Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 22/47-49)
-----

Imaam Ahmad said that the one who does not pray because of laziness is a kaafir. This is the more correct view and is that indicated by the evidence of the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, and by the words of the Salaf and the proper understanding. (Al-Sharh al-Mumti’ ‘ala Zaad al-Mustanqi’, 2/26).

Ibn Hazm (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: We have narrated from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased with him), Mu’aadh ibn Jabal, Ibn Mas’ood, a number of the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them), and from Ibn al-Mubaarak, Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Ishaaq ibn Raahawayh (may Allaah have mercy on them)and from other Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them),a total of seventeen, that the one who deliberately and knowingly does not offer an obligatory prayer until the time for it has ended becomes a kaafir and apostate. This is the view of ‘Abd-Allaah ibn al-Maajishoon, the companion of Maalik, and of ‘Abd al-Malik ibn Habeeb al-Andaloosi and others. End quote from al-Fasl fi’l-Milal wa’l-Ahwa’ wa’l-Nihal (3/128).

Ibn Hazm (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: It was narrated from ‘Umar, ‘Abd al-Rahmaan ibn ‘Awf, Mu’aadh ibn Jabal, Abu Hurayrah and others among the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them) that the one who deliberately does not offer an obligatory prayer once, until the time for it has ended, is a kaafir and an apostate. End quote from al-Muhalla (2/15).

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
Not praying is kufr which puts one beyond the pale of Islam. If he has a wife, then his marriage to her is annulled, meat slaughtered by him is not permissible, his fasting and charity will not be accepted, and it is not permissible for him to go to Makkah and enter the Haram; if he dies it is not permissible for him to be washed or shrouded, or the funeral prayer to be offered for him, or for him to be buried with the Muslims. Rather he should be taken out into the desert, and a ditch dug for him, and he should be buried into it. If a person’s relative dies and he knows that he did not pray, it is not permissible for him to deceive the people by bringing him to them for them to offer the funeral prayer for him, because offering the funeral prayer for a kaafir is haraam, as Allaah says:

“And never (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) pray (funeral prayer) for any of them (hypocrites) who dies, nor stand at his grave. Certainly they disbelieved in Allaah and His Messenger, and died while they were Faasiqoon (rebellious, — disobedient to Allaah and His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم)” - [al-Tawbah 9:84]

“It is not (proper) for the Prophet and those who believe to ask Allaah’s forgiveness for the Mushrikoon, even though they be of kin, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the Fire (because they died in a state of disbelief)” - [al-Tawbah 9:113]

Anthropomorphism

Mujassima? Does Allah have hands and feet?
The Quran verses and hadiths mention them, but they are not similar to human’s or any other of His creation’s hand or feet  nor anything else. laysa ka mithlihi shayun – there is nothing like Allah.
Belief in it is Compulsory, but the HOW is an innovation.
The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty).: – (20:5)
Ja’far Ibn Abdullah narrated: We were with Malik Ibn Anas when a man came to him and said: “O Abu Abdullah (Allah said) ‘Ar-Rahman upon the Throne Istawa’ (20:5), how was His Istiwa? Imam Malik inclined his head and was silent until the sweat of fever covered his brow, then he looked up and said: “Istiwa is not unknown, the Kayf (how) is uncomprehendable, believing in it is wajib (obligatory), and asking about it is bid’ah (innovation), and I do not think that you are anything but an innovator.” Then he ordered that the man be expelled. - [Abu-Naeem Al-Asbahani in 'Hilyatul-Awliya wa Tabaqat Al-Asfiya' (Vol. 6, pg. 325-326)]
The names & attributes of Allah are not like ours, because we see and Allah sees but He is the All-Seeing. We hear and Allah hears but He is the All- Hearing. His attributes are not like ours. The creator is not like the creation because Allah resembles nothing of His creation. laysa ka mithlihi shay. Surah 42:11
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing - [42:11]
-And no, we do not attribute to Allah human attributes.
To believe that Allah Most High resembles His creation in any way, or attribute human forms and qualities to Him (anthropomorphism/tashbih) constitutes disbelief (kufr). Imam al-Tahawi (Allah have mercy in him) states in his famous reference work on Muslim beliefs, “Anyone who describes Allah as being in any way the same as a human being has become an unbeliever. All those who grasp this will take heed and refrain from saying things such as the unbelievers say, and they will know that He, in His attributes, is not like human beings.” (Al-Aqida al-Tahawiyya, article 34)
Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali (Allah have mercy on him) states, “Whosoever thinks that Allah has a body made of organs is an idol-worshipper… Whosoever worships a body is considered a disbeliever by the consensus of all the scholars – both the early scholars (salaf) as well as the late ones (muta’akhirun).” (Iljam al-Anam an ilm al-Kalam, P: 6-8)
Mulla Ali al-Qari states in his commentary of Al-Fiqh al-Akbar, “We are unable to comprehend Allah Most High. Whatever occurs in one’s mind [regarding Allah’s appearance], Allah is other than that, for Allah says: ‘But they shall not encompass Him with their knowledge.’” (Minah al-Rawd al-Azhar fi sharh al-Fiqh al-Akbar, P: 117)
Abu ’l-Fadl al-Tamimi al-Hanbali says, “Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (Allah have mercy on him) condemned those who said that Allah is a body (jism)… since the term jism/body linguistically is used to indicate things that have length, width, depth, and a compound nature. (See the footnotes to Minah al-Rawd al-Azhar fi sharh al-Fiqh al-Akbar, P: 118)
Ibn Taymiyyah: “Indeed, the term body (jism), organs (‘arad), extent (mutahayyiz) and their like are all newly-invented terminologies. We have mentioned many a time before that the Salaf and the Imaams have not spoken about such things, neither by way of a negation nor by way of affirmation. Rather, they declared those who spoke about such matters to be innovators and went to great lengths to censure them.” –(ibn Taymiyyah, Majmoo’ al-Fataawaa 3/306-310 and 13/304-305, Minhaajus-Sunnah an-Nabawiyah 2/134-135, 192, 198-200 and 567)
We attribute to Allah only His attributes which He mentioned in the Qur’aan and through  His Prophet SAWS – and He states He has a hand – so who are we to deny?
Mujahid narrated Abdullah ibn Umar (RA) said: “Allah created four things with His Hand; 1. The Throne 2. The Pen 3. Aadam and 4. The paradise of ‘Adn. He then said to the rest of the creation ‘Kun’ [Be] and it was.” - [Adh Dhahabi in ‘Mukhtasar al-‘Uluw’ (p105), Abu al-Shaikh al-Asbahani in 'al-‘Adhuma' (5/1555), Tafsir al-Tabari (21/239), ‘The chain is authentic according to the conditions of Muslim.’]
————
Some people accuse us of taking the Hadeeth texts literally.
Imaam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (d.241H): ”The hadeeth, in our estimation, is to be taken by its apparent (dhaahir) meaning, as it has come from the Prophet sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam…” - (Usool as Sunnah no.27 of Imaam Ahmad)
Al-Khattaabee (d.388H) said: “The madhab of the Salaf with regard to the Attributes of Allaah is to affirm them as they are with their apparent (dhaahir) meaning, negating any resemblance to the creation and without asking how they are.” - (Al-Ghuniyah ‘an Kalaam wa Ahlihi, as quoted in Mukhtasar al-‘Uluww (p.257/no.311). See also al-Asmaa was-Sifaat (2/p.198) of al-Bayhaqee)
Al-Khateeb al-Baghdaadee (d.463H) said: “As for speech about the Attributes (of Allaah), what is authentically related about them in the Sunnah, then the way of the Salaf, may Allaah be pleased with them all, was to affirm them all as they are, upon their apparent (dhaahir) meaning…” - (Al-Kalaam ‘alas-Sifaat (pp.19-20) of al-Baghdaadee)
Shaykh ‘Abdul-Qaadir al-Jeelaanee (d.561H) said: “It is essential to carry the Attribute of al-Istawaa (Allaah’s ascending) upon its apparent sense… it is related from them (i.e. the Salaf) that they carried the meaning of Istawaa with its apparent meaning.” - (Al-Ghuniyatut-Taalibeen (1/50) of ‘Abdul-Qaadir al-Jeelaanee)
Ibn Qudaamah (d.620H) said: “The way of the Salaf is to have faith in the Names and Attributes of Allaah that He has described Himself with in His Revelation, or upon the tongue of His Messenger sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, without increasing or decreasing upon it, nor exceeding the limits, nor explaining them, nor making ta’weel of them in a way which opposes the apparent (dhaahir) meaning.” - (Dhammut-Ta’weel (p.11) of Ibn Qudaamah)
Al-Haafidh ibn ‘Abdul-Barr (d.463H) wrote: “Ahlus-Sunnah are agreed in affirming all of the Attributes which are related in the Qur’aan and the Sunnah, having faith in them and understanding them in a real sense (‘alal-haqeeqah) not metaphorically.” - (ibn ‘Abdul-Barr, At-Tamheed 7/145)

Evidence from Qur’aan & Sunnah
They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him – [39:67]
al-Bukhaari (6661) and Muslim (2848) from Anas ibn Maalik, according to which the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Hell will keep saying, ‘Are there any more (to come)?’ until the Lord of Glory, may He be blessed and exalted, places His foot on it, then it will say, ‘Enough, enough, by Your glory!’ And all its parts will be integrated together.
Al-Bukhaari (4850) and Muslim (2847) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Hell and Paradise disputed, and Hell said: ‘I have been favoured with the arrogant and proud.’ Paradise said: ‘What is the matter with me, that no one will enter me except the weak, humble and downtrodden?’ Allah, may He be blessed and exalted, said to Paradise: ‘You are My mercy by which I will show mercy to whomsoever I will of My slaves.’ And He said to Hell: ‘You are My punishment with which I will punish whomsoever I will of My slaves. And each of you will be full.’ As for Hell, it will not be full until Allah, may He be blessed and exalted, places His foot on it and it says, ‘Enough, enough.’ Then it will be full and all its parts will be integrated together, and Allah will not treat any of His creation unjustly. As for Paradise, Allah will create a creation just for it.”
——————
Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Kursiy (foot stool) is the place of the two feet, and the size of Throne cannot be known.”  - This was narrated by Ibn Khuzaymah in at-Tawheed, 1/248, no. 154; Ibn Abi Shaybah in al-‘Arsh, 61; ad-Daarimi in ar-Radd ‘ala al-Muraysi; ‘Abdullah ibn al-Imam Ahmad in as-Sunnah; and al-Haakim in al-Mustadrak, 2/282 – he classed it as saheeh according to the conditions of the two shaykhs (al-Bukhaari and Muslim), and adh-Dhahabi agreed with him. It was also classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Mukhtasar al-‘Uluw, p. 102; and by Ahmad Shaakir in ‘Umdat at-Tafseer, 2/163.
Abu Moosa al-Ash‘ari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Kursiy is the place for the two feet, and it creaks as a saddle creaks.  - Narrated by ‘Abdullah ibn al-Imam Ahmad in as-Sunnah; Ibn Abu Shaybah in al-‘Arsh, 60; and by Ibn Jareer, al-Bayhaqi and others. Its isnaad was classed as saheeh in al-Fath, 8/47 and by al-Albaani inMukhtasar al-‘Uluw, p. 123-124
These two reports confirm that Allah, may He be exalted, has two feet, and this is the belief of Ahl as-Sunnah.
—————
So  the evidences (from Qur’aan & Sunnah) are there – the attributes of Allah – Believing in it is Compulsory. But we do NOT ask how. Because there is nothing like Allah.  Hands-feet the only similarity are the names, but only Allah know how.
Ibn Taymiyyah states: “Whoever considers the Attributes of Allaah to be like the attributes of the creation, such that the Istawaa of Allaah is like the ascending of the creation, or His Descending (Nuzool) is like the descending of the creation or other than that, then he is a deviated innovator. ” – (Majmoo’ al-Fataawaa 5/262).
——— ———————
In Qur’an there are 2 types of statements
1) Metaphorical
2) Literal

However, the origin of Qur’an is literal.
Abul Hasan al-Ash’aree (d.324H) who wrote in Al-Ibaanah ‘an Usool ad-Diyaanah (p.133): ”The ruling concerning the Speech of Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, is that it is taken upon its apparent (dhaahir) and real meaning. Nothing is removed from its apparent meaning to a metaphorical one except with a proof…”
And we are not allowed to give a metaphorical. Meaning until we have evidence that it is metaphorical. But they say all of the Qur’an is metaphorical. Until they have hujjah that is it literal. They criticize us saying we cannot take the Qur’an literally. We don’t take the Qur’an literally
There are metaphorical verses in the Qur’an
-such as Surah 17:24
-7:24 say to lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy
-but we don’t have wings

And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: “My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small.” (Al-Isra 17:24)
—————
“The hypocrites, men and women, are from one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief and polytheism of all kinds and all that Islam has forbidden), and forbid (people) from Al- Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do), and they close their hands [from giving (spending in Allah’s Cause) alms, etc.]. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them. Verily, the hypocrites are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).” (At-Tawbah 9:67)
  • -we do not take 9:67 literally
  • -tafseer of the ayah is that ALLAH ignores them, not that ALLAH forgets

Such a fitnah

Ibn Mas’ud (ra) – narrated that the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: “How will you be when you will be enveloped by a trial, [through which] the old will reach senility and the young will grow. People will take it to be a Sunnah, and if any part of it is left, it will be said, “has a Sunnah been left?” They asked, “And when is that?” He said, “When your scholars are gone; when your reciters will increase in number; when your Fuqaha will be few in number; when the number of rulers increases; when the trustwrothy ones will be few; when the world is sought through the actions of the Hereafter; and when knowledge of the Religion is sought, but not for the Religion.” [Related by al-Darimi (1/64), with two chains, one of which is authentic, and the other of which is hasan (acceptable); by Hakim (4/514).]
